By Asakadai Station and Kita-Asaka Station, about 37 minutes to Ikebukuro door to door — a gateway to central Tokyo. Also a handy base for overseas travelers exploring the rest of Japan on a longer trip.
Each unit has its own mini-kitchen, air conditioning, washing machine, and private bathroom. Utilities and Wi-Fi included.
Asaka City is a commuter town in southern Saitama, just north of Tokyo, with a relatively young population of families and singles — everyday life here is easy and convenient. From STUDIO VIII, Shiki Station is also within walking distance. Along the Kuromegawa River, cherry blossoms in spring and a summer festival with fireworks are small local pleasures.
The nearest stations are Asakadai Station (Tobu Tojo Line) and Kita-Asaka Station (JR Musashino Line) — not Asaka Station (! easy to mix up).
To Ikebukuro from Asakadai Station: about 16–19 minutes by express-type trains.
From the airport: a direct shuttle bus connects Haneda Airport and Asakadai Station (limited schedule — check it lines up with your flight). A similar shuttle from Narita Airport is currently suspended. If you're coming from Narita Airport, search your route to Kita-Asaka Station.
